Forecasters Predict Busier Than Normal Hurricane Season

ST. LOUIS, MO, May 25, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --On average, 11 tropical storms, six of which turn into hurricanes, develop each year in the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea or Gulf of Mexico.* But, according to a recently released forecast from Colorado State University, 2010 is expected to be a busier than normal hurricane season in the Atlantic basin and along the Gulf Coast and Eastern Seaboard in the United States.
